FINAO’s mission is to help organizations create an environment of personal and professional development in which each individual takes responsibility and shares ownership. That environment allows the team to align its focus on the point of success. We know cohesion, coordination, and unity of effort doesn't just happen, it takes serious commitment and can be challenging, but we thrive in challenge. Our team has intimate knowledge of those challenges and complexities of building a unit that has a strategic charter. At our Nation’s highest level of Special Operation Forces there exists a process and culture we believe can be transposed onto any unit that has the drive and willingness to succeed.
Founder & CEO
Todd Butler is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FINAO Coastal Group and he is responsible for the company’s strategic growth and international development. Mr. Butler is an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience building and managing successful businesses and partnerships. He has a proven executive management track record driving sales growth in multiple industries throughout the international marketplace. Mr. Butler’s versatility, creativity and dedication are the foundation of each of his successful endeavors.
Mr. Butler’s current focus with FINAO Coastal Group is to create opportunities for retiring military personnel to export their knowledge, skills, and abilities to corporate, maritime and international markets.
David Clarke, CPA, CFE
Chief Financial Officer
Dave is FINAO Coastal Groups Chief Financial Officer, with oversight responsibility for all financial matters. He is responsible for the development of financial policies and processes as well as human resources functions and administrative program management. In addition to being a CPA, David is a Certified Fraud Examiner, has earned Chartered Global Management Accountant Designation and holds a Masters degree in Forensic Accounting.
Mr. Clarke joined FCG in 2017 and brings with him over 35 years of accounting, human resources and program management experience in the Government contracting arena.
Chief Operations Officer
CWO4 (SEAL) Boyd Renner retired from the US military in 2016. Before retiring, Warrant Officer Renner served 28 years in the Special Operations community, including four years at SEAL Team TWO and over twenty-three years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. His tenure included ten deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and numerous other missions worldwide. Chief Warrant Officer Renner’s many combat commendations include the Life-Saving Medal, three Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, three Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, two Presidential Unit Citations, and numerous other joint and individual awards.
Currently, Mr. Renner serves as the Chief Operations Officer of FINAO Coastal Group. Mr. Renner is also the Co-Founder of Endeavor Life Sciences and is completing his master's thesis in Project Management at Penn State. Mr. Renner is a native of Durango, Colorado. He enlisted in the US Navy in October of 1988 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in October of 1990. He resides in Virginia Beach, VA with wife Wanda Renner.
